Biography

Annina was born in South Africa and immigrated to Canada in 2003 with her parents and brother. She moved back to Lacombe in 2021 where she now lives with her husband, Terry. Annina has taught Elementary, Middle School, and High School in her career as a teacher and is currently working towards completing her PhD focusing on Beholding as Pedagogy through Simon Fraser University. Her research includes mastery of learning, arts-based practices, and teacher retention.
