Biography

Dr. Gretton has a passion for engaging in research that helps bridge the scientist-practitioner gap.  Her background includes partnerships between researchers and community-based programs, and involvement in a practice research network.  Dr. Gretton’s research background includes examining mental health needs, risk factors, and treatment outcomes of youth in a forensic context.  In recent years Dr. Gretton joined the Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) Institute research team as part of an international Practice Research Network, studying the practice and process of AEDP, and transdiagnostic research investigating its effectiveness and outcomes in private practice settings. This research includes clinicians from United States, Canada, Israel, Japan, and Sweden. She recently collaborated on the development of the Moments of Flourishing Experiences Scale (Fosha et al, submitted for publication).
