Involve. Ignite. Inspire.

This was the theme of the evening for the launch party of the newest club on the campus of Burman University: the Burman Black Student Alliance (BBSA). Eulaine Ndhlovu, President, and Gloria Osei, Vice President, were buzzing with ideas that they would like to see on campus. With the encouragement of their co-sponsor, Cheri Notice, they set out to make those things happen. First thing on the list: create a club that celebrated culture and the many different expressions of it.

The purpose of the club is to promote interested in understanding, awareness, and cooperation between Burman University and its students. Its members aim to provide support and assistance for minority-related events for its members and to promote positive interaction within the minority groups represented on the campus of Burman University and its community. The club emphasizes that it is open to any students, faculty, or staff member of Burman University that may be interested in helping fulfill the club's purpose and mission.

On the evening of April 9, students came together to celebrate the launch of this newly formed club, to share their vision and hope for the club, and to encourage each other to keep the momentum going. With everyone dressed up with big smiles, the campus is excited about what this club will bring to student life next academic year.

The following students are the incoming executive committee of BBSA:

President – Eulaine Ndhlovu
Vice President – Gloria Osei
Public Relations Director – Alexandra Moly
Treasurer – Adebimpe Adebowle
Secretary – Ellecia Cousins
