For the past ten years Burman University students and staff have served Lacombe and the surrounding community. Service Day at Burman University is full of new experiences, memories, and opportunities for students to connect and learn more about the community.
This year, we had over 10 locations and 130 signups. Volunteers had an opportunity to contribute by cleaning trails, a cemetery, and helping the food bank and local schools.
“Our annual Service Day was a great success. As students, faculty and staff stepped out into our community to serve others, we were able to make a significant difference in their lives,” said Dr. Loren Agrey, Burman University President.
This service day was one of the biggest ones we've had; students have done a fantastic job connecting and helping the community. Burman University looks forward to serving the community in 2023.
