Return to Campus - Student Services
A. Travel to Campus
For international students ONLY:
The Residence Halls will open Monday, August 9th. If you are coming from outside of the country, we ask that you contact us ahead of time and pre-book your arrival stay with us. Please contact Student Services to discuss your arrival plans. Send an email inquiry to: ssdesk@burmanu.ca
No one will be permitted entry into the residences before Friday, August 20th unless they have made prior arrangements to arrive for quarantine purposes with Student Services.
Canadian International Border restrictions are pretty tight right now but a new announcement will be delivered July 21, 2021. if anything changes I will let you know. Otherwise, All international travellers need to review the following to determine what your requirements are. There are differences for driving into Canada or flying into Canada, differences if you are vaccinated or not vaccinated. https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid
Burman University is prepared to accommodate you however we can as follows:
- Dorm open for Quarantine/Isolation of International Students Only - August 9, 2021
- a room and food will be provided. Laundry services can be arranged as well. (charges apply)
- We will provide you with a quarantine plan letter if needed for Canadain entry.
For all other students arriving from within Canada:
The Residence Halls will open Friday, August 20th for all those attending QueQuest (Freshman and new students).
For all other students returning to campus, you can start moving on Friday, August 27th.
Remember: If you need to return to campus prior to August 20 at noon you MUST contact ssdesk@burmanu.ca to begin arranging for your arrival.

- We will provide for a safe travel experience from either Calgary or Edmonton Airports to Campus. A full Shuttle schedule will be delivered shortly. To register for a ride, go here:

- Yes, we are having CueQuest in person this year. We welcome all first and second year students to this very special event prior to classes starting.
