Committee of 100
The Committee of 100 was organized in 1973 as a group of alumni and friends who are committed to the advancement of Burman University. Since that time, the Committee of 100 has contributed significantly to capital projects that have enhanced the experience of Burman University students.
Membership to the Committee is open to anyone that values Burman University and Christian education and who is willing to give of both their time and means to ensure its continued growth. With a minimum contribution of $500 annually (as a one-time gift or in installments), Committee members vote on the project they will support with the funds raised.
Previous Committee of 100 projects include new campus signage on College Avenue (2015-2016), landscaping and barrier-free access improvement to the Administration Building (2017), the Grand Staircase in the new Library (2021-2023), and a new 15-passenger van (2023-2024).
