New Certificates
We are excited to be launching two brand-new online certificate programs this winter, emphasising Burman’s value of Service - Humanitarian Service Worker and Wholistic Care for Newcomers to Canada. Humanitarian Service Worker prepares graduates for entry level roles with non-governmental organisations in development, relief, and disaster management roles, while Wholistic Care is beneficial for those who work with immigrants and refugees, as well as professionals new to Canada to seek orientation to our culture. Please share the program pages on Burman’s website with any of your interests.
UExperience
This is an exciting weekend as Burman will be hosting UExperience. Coming to campus is one of the best indicators of whether a student will choose to come to campus next year as a student. As you may have read in Janelle’s email, we will host 125+ students and sponsors from Kingsway College, Crawford Adventist Academy, Greaves Adventist Academy, Fraser Valley Academy, Deer Lake School, Cariboo Adventist Academy, as well as a few individual students from PACeS (Alberta Conferences virtual school), West Coast Adventis School (BC Conferences virtual school), Newfoundland, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC. Please take the opportunity to connect with these potential students if you have a chance. If you are interested in visiting Burman University please email info@burmanu.ca.
